Reiki comes from the Japanese words, “rei,” meaning universal and “ki,” meaning vital life force energy. 

Reiki uses a technique commonly called palm or hands on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy in the form of ki through the palms, which they believe allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. By clearing energy blocks, Reiki can  provide stress reduction, increase relaxation, enhance mood, sleep, and emotional well being. 

Reiki appointments can also include sound healing, the most ancient method of healing. Various sound healing instruments will be used. This can include, but not be limited to various types of tuning forks or bowls, rattles, and earth gong. This is a completely individualized offering to your body's needs at the time of service. You'll receive release from deep tension and care for your body down to a cellular level.
